Hello, all!

Sorry I have been absent so long. I've been engaged in a lot of Family Activities and general business.  I've also taken on scanning Carley's photos to make them available to her whole family.  This week I'll post some of the gems, and hopefully next week I'll be ready to fall back in to routine.

La Bete Noire

Having French pastries means a lot of conversations, i.e. disagreements, about pronunciation.  Nested corrections.  Pain? Pahn? Pen?  Those of us in the know say "a pastry" or "a chocolate croissant".

A Field Guide

Short of constantly saying our names to each other, I don't have any tricks for making sure new readers know what's going on.  Maren has a theory that every member of our team has a defining gesture, so I ran with it to familiarize readers with the cast.  I'll expand on this idea for the book for sure.
