Season 3 Blooper Reel

I want at least two more panels with one more clapperboard, so the book can have two 9 panel pages of bloopers.  If I can get another two pages after that, awesome.  It'll make for a good end of the book.

It's A Wonderful Orange

Maren walks over to me, gesturing wildly, saying "you should do a comic, with a master, and if you choose an apple its a thing but the orange is a different thing!"

"That's great, Maren," I said, "but you seem to have the idea.  Why don't you draw it?"

"But yours are so funny! It could be like, what if I had this apple?"

"Tell you what, why don't you draw half and I'll draw the other half based on what you've done?"

"Well, okay, Rob."

Thus Maren drew the first half of this comic.  I foolishly thought she would draw three panels, since my comics are normally six panels or less.  Foolish, foolish Rob.  She gave me enough to work from, at least.  I got what she was going for, and mimicked her layouts.  It was fun!  I hope to collaborate with someone again.

Pastry Of The Demon

Have you seen Night Of The Demon?  No?  Go do it!  It's so good.  My dad and his brothers got me into black and white horror movies, and some of them are just fantastic.  Just the right amount of scary for kids.  Invisible men, giants ants, and cursed runes.  What's not to love?

I'm Too In Debt To Be Worth Suing.

Did you friends ever try to work Don't Speak by No Doubt into conversation?  Was it just my friends?  I've heard folks use other song lyrics into what they're saying; my friends are not unique in that regard.  If you haven't yourself, consider it a new goal.

Don't Speak came on and I realized I could work the lyrics into clumsy responses to my daily life.  Put Doug, Geoff, and I together, and this is not outside the realm of possibility.  Too much caffeine is pretty rare for me, and usually involves me running everywhere I go.  My brain straight up breaking is typically exhaustion, stress, or exhaustion from stress.  Sometimes its a fever!  Right now is a perfect example.  I'm exhausted, and this paragraph is barely comprehensible.

Mobility Test: User Feedback Requested

I've heard some phones reject the concept of all the panels in one image.  Is it because the image is too wide? Is it the change in resolution?  Are phones just jerks?  I dunno!  So here is a previously posted comic in three formats.  If one or more formats does not work for your phone, or your tablet, or what-have-you, please let me know.  Contact me in person or on the Facebook.  I can figure out the best way to reach everybody.

Fire Proximity Suit

Still not sure how I feel about this process.  I even scanned these all together.  Hmmmmm.

I mostly wanted to work Shaun into the comic again.  This was part of a five day run of writing a comic a day as part of my time at Black Dragon.  Shaun is seen here at Lou's, working on his Surface.  I haven't quite captured his cadence, but the "Run, probably" is pure Shaun.

That Guy Is Talking That Day

I'm trying this panels presented as cohesive whole thing.  I believe it's called a strip.  It's a formatting pain in the ass.  But you know, I love you guys.  I'll give it a shot.  Today.  Maybe again later.  I dunno.  What are you thinking?  I think I meant, what do you think?

The Actors Prepare For The Show

And here we see the actors, when they're not pretending to be us.  I left my prepared comic at home, but then my money & pastry delivery was ten minutes late, giving me some time to draw.  I drew the first three panels at work, but it felt like it should be more.  I drew the next three at home, making this the first time for them to be shown to the world!

Post Edited!

The post after this I edited the panels into a single image strip.  I've re-edited this strip into a single image now so I can see how I feel about it.  Feel free to tell me what you think.  I know you do and you will.
