I am a native Midwesterner!  I am!  I think that many confuse Midwest nice with some false propriety.  Being polite does not mean conforming to Victorian etiquette.  There are some strange imaginary rules out there.

I Don't Know Why I Didn't Catch That

So at this point, I haven't gotten around to making the new cast page readers requested, so I started throwing in a panel with character names.  In this case, I also used it to designate roles; if there was any blow back from expecting customers to know what the hell they're doing, my loose cannon status is a disclaimer that my ideas are my own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the whole team.  But seriously, just say your whole damn order.

A Good Word For Scrabble

After the morning rush, everyone seems to forget how lines work.  They'll just stand somewhere random in the cafe, and hope someone will take their order.  Luckily, a number of English work here.

This One Confused People

"What is This?"
I dunno. What is This?
"In your comic, it says you're about sell This for five dollars, but it doesn't say what This is."
That's weird.  Without more details, I can't tell you what This is.
"How can people order This if you don't know what it is?"
I dunno, but it has never stopped them.

The Beauty Of Sentences

The word/name Burbol seems to correlate with the popularity of a comic, so let me say to you, use sentences; it is what Burbol would do.  This is a re-draw of a comic that was very popular with polite customers.  It was less popular with... other people.

If you had to take the lid off to use it, put the lid back.  If it's food you don't want flies on, put a lid on it.  If it's in my cafe with a lid, leave the lid on, or put the lid back when you're done.
