I felt like it was time to play around with other arts's styles.  I love Mike Mignola's work, including his post-Hellboy paintings.

Now, I have no idea how to do that, but it seemed like a good style to draw inspiration from.

Maren asked for a comic Adventure Time style.  I studied the style, started copying designs, and trying to learn the design vocabulary.  I soon determined it would be a lot of work to do a whole six panel adventure in someone else's style.  So I cheated.
