Kenny steps up where I have failed!

A little context: Culinary meetings are regularly on Wednesdays, and involve closing some locations a little early.  We put up signs in the cafes, and warnings on the internal site, but it can still be rough on some of our customers.

Postcards: Megan's awesome painting!

This is awesome.  I am so lucky to have artists willing to send me their work.

I am also lucky that I got away this approach.  I pretty much gave Megan a blank postcard addressed to me and said "paint me something!"  And while her response may not have been entirely enthusiastic, it resulted in me receiving an excellent painting.  

I still have not crafted my reply.

Barista Powers 2017: A Respone

Bridget had some feels about our return to the airwaves.

There is a lot going on here.

As you may have to put together by now, my organizational skills are not often actually put into practice.  I have, in searching for a specific piece of paper, found quite a few random pieces of paper.  Would you like to go on this journey with me?


I am pretty sure that Kenny drew this.  He has drawn my death more than any other coworker.

With great frequency, Maren exclaims "Rob!  Do you know what you should draw?"  She then goes on to ramble on about whatever has most recently crossed her stream of consciousness.  She sometimes goes as far as mostly drawing a comic.  This is one such time.

Sometimes I just can not complete an idea.  Mostly I get stuck searching for a solid last panel, though on occasion I trip up on moving my characters from the beginning to the end.  Sometimes I scrap the entire idea.  Other times I will shorten a six panel comic down to three panels.  On this comic I needed all the panels to show off the portal system... and so I ended on a skeleton playing guitar?

Setting the Wayback to 2005, when we didn't know exactly how awesome the Batman movies would be.  Now we know.  So awesome.

Guest Comics In The Mail!

Huzzah!  I received my first mailed in guest comic!  I'm excited to break this one out once I run through my current production.

If there's one thing I've learned...

There will always be Februarys.  And so, this is another call for guest comics!  I feel like there will be fewer interruptions to service if I have some sort of comic surplus.  Hook me up!  You know where I work.  Probably.  Or you know someone who knows where I work.  Or you're related to someone who knows where I work.  Point is, you should be able to get comics to me.  Draw something on a stick note, and get it to me by whatever means necessary.
