Remember August is an immersive mail-based keepsake game played by writing and mailing one half of a letter correspondence to your childhood friend, who is lost in time.
When you were younger, you had a friend named August. You grew apart when she went to go work for the Bureau of Time Disruption - she was extremely focused on her career, she started turning down your invitations to hang out, and soon you grew apart.
The problem is, when people stop remembering you, you get stuck in time. This is something that should have been covered in the Bureau of Time Disruption’s employee manual, but it wasn’t. Now, August is stuck in several time periods and several places, none of them the present, and you barely remember her. But your address is the only one August still remembers by heart, and her only path back to the present day depends on your memories of your time together.
Below are the cards I made while participating in Remember August.
