You can see I started off really into maps and stamps. I love maps and stamps; I feel like they create instant narrative... weight, or something I don't quite have the words for. A grounding the image might not otherwise have. A sense of looking into someone's notebook.
After that, Plant/Animal/Object cards made a return, and with them came watercolors. After the first two birds I remember thinking "oh, are birds my thing now," but it looks like nope. Only a few since then. I just bounced between collage and watercolor animals.
